First Amendment
First Amendment | Civics 101 | PBS LearningMedia
The US Constitution has a Bill of Rights that was created to provide protection for individual freedoms. It starts with the First Amendment. The First Amendment protects five freedoms: speech, religion, press, assembly, and the right to petition the government. Together, these five guaranteed freedoms make the people of the United States of America the freest in the world.

Know Your Rights | Students’ Rights | American Civil Liberties Union
